TECHNICAL CAPACITY BUILDING

One of our main aims  is to increase the technical capacity of African cultural industries, as a means to countering challenges that have traditionally made it difficult for institutions and communities to engage with their own culture inclusively, economically and holistically.  We see technology as a means to empower and to engage, by equipping individuals and organisations with the skills to reach a wider audience, digitise artefacts and engage with culture through various forms of digital media.

DIGITAL DOCUMENTATION

We explore aspects such as digitisation, digital documentation and digital visualisation by partnering with organisations, institutions and communities. In doing so, we aim to highlight heritage in danger of disappearance and bring to the fore-front lesser known stories and perspectives. Our inspiration stems from a deep commitment to the continent's diverse history, and a  curiosity that  drives us to continuously push the limits of technology, arts and culture.
